CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 13-19 MAY Please keep this week free in your diaries! We collected £1129.65 last year from local house to house collections. We have about 25 collectors & the Guides help by delivering the envelopes to some roads.  If we could get more volunteers this year, more roads could be visited. GARDEN PARTY St Paul’s W.I. and Church are jointly holding a Garden Party in celebration of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and The Olympics from 4.00 pm onwards on Wednesday 20th June, with games, cream teas & refreshments – more info. to follow soon. CHURCH ROTAS are now ready for collection from the back of church. For the 3rd quarter (Jul – Sept) please inform the office of all known absences/holidays in writing as soon as you can. Volunteers are always needed, so if there’s a duty you think you could do, let us know. (Training given – please have a word with Murray.) Thanks

SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS Sainsbury’s is once again issuing vouchers. St Paul’s Cubs, Beavers & Scouts would appreciate your support so please collect vouchers (box at the back of church.)

COFFEE MORNING Joan & Keith (who come to Chairobics & Music Listening Group) would like to invite you to their coffee morning on Saturday 28th April at 53 Charnock Grove from 10.30 am onwards. They are raising funds for the PSP Association for research into the condition, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. All welcome!

‘SUNNY DAYS’ is here in church on Mondays from 12.30 pm and aims to provide a place for Mums to socialise, and to talk in confidence about their worries around parenting, If you know of anyone who would welcome support, please tell them about “Sunny Days.”

POLLING will once again be held at St Paul’s in The Meeting Place from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm on Thursday 3rd May. N.B. Chairobics will be held in The Old Vestry, with apologies for any inconvenience.  “RUNNING WITH SCISSORS” Emma Kent, one of our Peekaboo Mums, is holding a Knitting Workshop in OV on Saturday 28th April from 1.30 – 5.00 pm. EVENTS AT BISHOPS HOUSE On Sat 28th April – Poetry, Music and Wine at 7.30 pm – Tickets £6 to include wine and refreshments; & on Sun 29th April from 1.00- 3.00 pm, Katherine’s Day – a look at Katherine Blythe, sister in law to the Bishops. Free!
On 18th May from 7.30 pm – 10.00 pm Museums at Night with a special screening of a 1920’s silent film. Free! (Places limited)
