St PAUL’S PRAYER WALK  As part of the Bishop’s Ten Days of Prayer we have planned a prayer walk for Tuesday 22nd May.  Please meet at St Paul’s at 6.00 pm, we can then order Fish and Chips which we will pick up as we walk past the chip shop.  We will then have our fish and chips together in the Meeting Place around   7.00 pm.  The plan is to walk down to the top of Meersbrook Park then up through part of the Thorpe House estate, up Warminster Road and along Mount View Avenue, then back down Derbyshire Lane and Norton Lees Crescent to Church.  We will stop along the route to pray for the area.

BARBARA HICK’S PARTY Will be on Sunday 1st July at 3.00 pm in church.  Please let Liz, Jacqui or Barbara Hanson know if you can come and if you can bring cakes or savouries.  No presents, but donations to Zimbabwe.

COFFEE AND FELLOWSHIP will follow Tuesday’s 10.00 am Holy Communion next week on 22nd May.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE! on Saturday morning 12th May, and Wednesday afternoon 16th May for cleaning, following the plastering work in the chancel. If you can help, please see Ken or John Brown for times. Even if you can only help at one session it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

NEXT MESSY CHURCH is Saturday 26th May, Pentecost weekend.  To help with planning it would be good to know if you intend to be part of this event and if so are there any things you'd like to do or any ideas you have. Please see Ann, Pete or Jana.

THIRD SECTOR CAFÉ on Thursday May 17th from 4 - 6 pm. The second Café discussion is “Not All Projects Run Smoothly” with Graham and Jo from St Mary’s and Tim from The Cathedral Archer Project. SHOE BOX NEWS A new summary report of the U.K. operation (to give a flavour of the overall project) can be found on the Meeting Place Notice Board. This year’s campaign will run from 1st to 18th Nov. and as in previous years, St Paul’s will act as a Drop-off Point.

SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS Sainsbury's have come to the end of issuing the vouchers, so can you please bring any vouchers in as soon as possible (box at the back of church.) St Paul’s Cubs, Beavers & Scouts would really appreciate your support!

SHEFFIELD FOLK CHORALE will be performing a variety of new and traditional songs at St Aidan's Church on Sat 30th June at 7.30pm.  It promises to be a lively summer concert and it would be lovely to see you there. From Murray
Today we have David Rhodes preaching at our 10 am service.  David has recently retired as vicar of Totley and has been my prayer partner for around ten years though we first met David at our training college.

David will be speaking about prayer as we prepare for the Ten Days of prayer which begins this Thursday.  Do make sure you take with you a prayer leaflet and make plans to use it!  It incorporates ideas from the Diocesan leaflet which some of you may have received last week.
