SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICE IN ZIMBABWE  - 5th November To everyone at St Paul’s - Thank you for your most recent donation of $17:50 which we received for Senior Citizens Service medical account. During the last few months it has been very difficult to continue our assistance to destitute pensioners. Without the help we have received from St Paul’s I am sure that we would have had to close our doors completely. I can assure you that all expenditure and medicines are closely monitored by me and all donations are used to their maximum effect. Thank you once again and God bless,   Dave Gill  - SCS administrator

‘THE BIG PENNY CHALLENGE’ Cathy’s son, Will, now works as a youth worker with Nottingham “Youth for Christ” who can be found working in churches, schools, youth projects and on the streets. They are hoping to collect a penny for every young person in Nottingham (200,000) so please help and check your pockets for loose change before the end of November! (There’s a small basket on the bookcase, and an ipad for the person or group who collects the most!) Many thanks to everyone for a fantastic response so far!

From Murray
Just to say that the PCC had a great day with Revd Philip West on Saturday.  Philip is my spiritual director and has helped me a great deal over the years.  We looked together at Acts 15 (the Council at Jerusalem), looked at the marks of how the early disciples made decision and compared it with what we do in PCC.  It was an encouraging and inspiring day!
