From Murray Last Thursday I went over to Thorne to show slides of Steve Wright and his ministry in Dubai to the MU.  Steve was curate in Thorne for three years.  I had a great welcome with quite a few extras coming to meeting.  It was very emotional seeing everyone again and scary to think that it is fifteen years since I left!  I will be using much the same slide show at MU here on 9th April – so you are not missing out!

ST PAUL’S SPRING MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held next Sunday 6th April at 6.00 pm.  Invitations have been sent out to those who have requested them.  Please let Murray know of any additional names to be read out as early as possible this week   or get in touch with Irene Seggar .

QUESTIONS! QUESTIONS!  - SUMMER SERIES begins on Wed 30th April and continues May 7th, 14th, 21st & (28th?) then June 4th, 11th, 18th, & (25th?)

FOODBANK UPDATE Last week they processed 12 vouchers and fed 20 people.  It was not a busy session as people can no longer obtain vouchers from Gleadless Valley Forum, though other agencies are gradually taking over role.  Foodbank are trying out provision of emergency food bags for those who do not have vouchers.  Please pray for a girl who attended who is just out of prison and asylum seekers who have an appalling time with no benefits nor are they allowed to work.  They cannot even go back home as their passports have been confiscated.
