PIE AND PEA SUPPER There will be a Pie and Pea Supper in church on Friday March 23rd at 7.00 pm.  Meat, vegetarian and gluten free varieties will be available. The meal will be followed by Peter Franklin who will speak about his recent trip to India. Tickets £5 available from Jacqui Herbert, Barbara Hanson or Liz Warren. Any profits will go into the Fabric Fund.

FOCUS SERVICE: SHEFFIELD CHURCH
Bishop Steven is coming to the Focus Service on Sunday 29th April to grant them their Bishop’s Mission Order and we are welcome to attend the service.

THE SEVEN LAST WORDS OF OUR SAVIOUR ON THE CROSS  Music by Joseph Haydn played by the String Quartet of Ensemble 360 Degrees, with Meditations by Canon Nick Jowett from 12 noon to 3.00 pm on Good Friday 6th April at St Andrew’s Psalter Lane Church. This is a quiet meditation service with music, words, and silence. Entrance is free, donations will be welcome. LADY DAY SERVICE Sheffield Diocese Mothers’ Union extends to you all a warm invitation to their Lady Day Service at The Minster of St George, Doncaster on Sunday 25th March at 3.00 pm. Our speaker is the Rt. Revd. Dr Steven Croft, Bishop of Sheffield. Please come along, bring a friend and celebrate this Holy Day. Lifts available if anyone would like to go - please see Jacqui.

CHURCH GARDEN  May we take this opportunity to thank John Brown and everyone who agreed to take on some of the church gardening and plant all those Spring bulbs. The daffodils and crocuses look wonderful thank you – please do go and take a look!

‘SUNNY DAYS’ – SUPPORT AND FRIENDSHIP FOR FAMILIES is here in church on Mondays from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Home Start’s “Sunny Days” aims to provide a place for babies to play and Mums to socialise, and to be able to talk in confidence about their worries and issues around parenting. Refreshments,  snacks and activities. If you know of anyone who would welcome some support, please tell them about “Sunny Days.”

Hermon and his family following the sad death of Hermon’s wife, Edris.  The funeral for Edris will be on Monday 12th March at 1.15 pm at City Road Crematorium Chapel -  the service will be followed by a burial.
