PCC MINUTES Three people have now asked Murray to send them a copy of PCC minutes by e-mail – don’t forget to let him know if you would like to be added to the list of recipients. Also, he has had very few comments on the changes to the notice sheets.  It would be good to have a rough idea of how many ‘Sunday Link’ leaflets to order.  At the moment we throw most of them away each week!

NORTON LEES LODGE CARE HOME Last week’s service at Norton Lees Lodge care home went well and Murray now feels able to offer to take the service to other homes, maybe once a month – but he will need a few people to come along and help with the singing etc.  Please let Murray know if you are interested in helping – not necessarily every time! Thanks

CHURCH ROTAS A few remaining copies for July – Sept are now ready for collection at the back of church. If you haven’t yet managed to let us know of any holidays, please make sure that you arrange your own swaps. Thank you

JUBILEE NEW TESTAMENT Copies priced 50p – ideal as a present. , please see Jacqui or an M.U. member.  (We have to order 50.)

CONCERT AT ST AIDAN’S Sheffield Folk Chorale will be performing a variety of new and traditional songs in glorious four-part harmony. The concert will be taking place at St Aidan's Church on the corner of Manor Lane and City Road on Saturday 30th June at 7.30pm.  Tickets cost £3 including refreshments and are available from the parish office on 0114 2780707 or admin@manorparish.co.uk  Payment is by cash or cheque payable to Sheffield Manor Parish or online on our website at www.manorparish.co.uk/whats-on.  A discount of 20% is offered on group bookings of 5 or more. From Murray
My cress seeds are growing already!  This will mean something to you if you were at Family Worship last week.  We were thinking about the parable of the mustard seed and some of us planted cress seeds (mustard not available!)  Jesus says that we only need a tiny amount of faith and if we plant it with him it can grow into something useful!

On 29th July I am celebrating the fact that I have been ordained 25 years with a special service at 10 am.  Do come if you can, it would be lovely to share the service with you.  My friend Steve who leads a church in Dubai will be preaching (if he gets here, he is taking a wedding in France the day before!) a few relatives and friends will be coming – and there will be cake afterwards!
