From Murray
I found it both very moving and inspiring to attend the Foodbank Thanksgiving service last Sunday evening.  We were given a wonderful welcome at Gleadless Valley Methodist Church and there were a good number of people from all the churches who support this Foodbank.  We had a great taste of the family atmosphere that has developed around the project as people from all sorts of different churches work together and support each other doing this amazing ministry.  It was particularly moving to hear from two young men who are clients of the Foodbank.  The shared a little bit about their situations and how much of a life line the food, support and the sense of being valued for who they are by the helpers means to them.  So thank you again to all those who contribute to Foodbank, what you are doing does make a real difference and is hugely appreciated.  Robert says that Foodbank again gave out much more than they received in last week, so please continue to pray for and support this great project!

MILK If your group likes to make a hot drink, can you please make sure one of you brings a little milk? Cathy will buy enough for visitors, staff, volunteers and Care4You, so you will need to replace any that you use.  Several times I have arrived to find it’s all been used and it’s difficult to leave the office to go and buy more. Thanks for your cooperation.
STAY WARM! Hallamshire Heating have checked the boiler again this week but if you know of anyone arranging hall hire with us, or booking a meeting at St Paul’s, can you please advise them to wear a cardigan or a jumper? Heating will be set for all groups at a comfortable temperature, but we’re still finding that people are arriving in short sleeved tops! Thank you
