CHURCH GARDEN Many thanks to all those who have worked so hard to tidy the church garden. Special thanks to Norie for his efforts last week in removing all the tree remains to the tip.
After the cutting down and pruning of the trees, bushes etc in the church grounds, John Brown has drawn up a plan of the garden and divided it into small plots. The plan is in the Meeting Place. Volunteers are now needed to look after a plot. If you can help, please put your name on the list for the plot you can care for. The grass will continue to be cut by Robert. Thank you.

SCC Parks & Countryside has allocated 1,000 spring flowering bulbs to St Paul’s free of charge. If people want to plant them in "their" plot, they are available in October

Confirmation on 18th September
I am delighted that Vicki, Sally and Grace are to be Confirmed at St Chad’s Church on Sunday 18th September at 10 am by the Bishop of Sheffield. It would be great if some of us from St Paul’s could be there at the service to support them. All three have been part of the last Questions Questions series and Grace has previously completed an Alpha Course at The Church of the Nazarene where she is involved with their youth group.
Back to Church Sunday – 25th September
This year Back to Church Sunday is on 25th September and we will be celebrating it at our 10 am service. The invitations for you to use are being given out today. There is also a Back to Church Sunday card on which you can write down the names of people you are thinking of inviting so that you can remember to pray for them!
