DEIDRE John called in this week to say that Deidre is feeling lots better and is now much more comfortable.
Deidre has asked for the following message to be passed on to all her friends at St Paul’s: “Thank you all for the birthday and get well cards – they were lovely, and were very much appreciated. I’m feeling better and hope to see you all soon. God bless you all,  Love Deidre.”

BETTY has now moved to a flat at Brunswick Retirement Village in Woodhouse. 

MURIEL KELLY is now living at The Cairn Home.

CONFIRMATION Vicki, Sally and Grace are to be confirmed at St Chad’s Church on Sun 18th Sept at 10 am by the Bishop of Sheffield. It would be great if some of us could be there to support them.

CHURCH ROTA As there are now more duties on the rota, it takes us more time to prepare. Please make sure you have informed the office of any dates that you will be unavailable for the last quarter, Oct – Dec ‘11 Thank you

CRAFT STORE Thanks to Jacqui and Ruth for tidying the store cupboard. Craft materials are for all groups, but please ensure you put things back in the same place.  Please let Jacqui know when stock is running out. Thanks

CHURCH GARDEN 
Now all the hard work has been done tidying the church grounds, John Brown has drawn up a plan of the garden and divided it into small plots. We now need volunteers to look after a plot. If you can help, please put your name on the list for the plot you can care for. (The grass will continue to be cut by Robert.) SCC Parks & Countryside has allocated 1,000 spring flowering bulbs to St Paul’s free of charge. If people want to plant them in "their" plot, they are available in October. Back to Church Sunday 
This year it’s on 25th Sept. and we will be celebrating it at our 10.00 am service. The invitations are in church and there is also a Back to Church Sunday card on which you can write down the names of people you’re thinking of inviting so that you can remember to pray for them!
