REMINDER!! CHURCH GARDEN Many thanks to John Brown who has put in an enormous amount of work over the Summer to tidy the church grounds. Please take a look at John’s plan (in church) to help us maintain the garden and do sign up to give your support if you have an hour free each month. Many of the plots are very small and you would only need to come and weed occasionally. If you can help, please put your name on the list for the plot you can care for. SHEFFIELD-ARGENTINA DIOCESAN LINK The Diocese of Sheffield has had a link with Argentina for nearly 20 years. There have been a number of youth and adult exchanges and many clergy and lay leaders have visited us. Please see the letter and poster in MP which encourages people to get in touch with The Link, particularly anyone who speaks Spanish, or has links with South America.
MUSIC AND MISSION Christians of all traditions are welcome to an afternoon of Music and Mission (songs and reflections with John Bell of the Iona Community.) The afternoon will end with a Sandwich Tea and will be held on Sunday 2nd October from 3-5 pm at Victoria Hall.
VACUUM CLEANERS We have two spare Dyson cleaners that need attention. Does anyone have any experience or the skills to repair them? If so, please see Ken, Cathy or John H. (We would like to keep the best one for use by groups doing crafts in The Old Vestry.) Many thanks to Enid for donating a Hoover for the Upper Hall and to Barbara for her carpet sweeper.

Please pray for Vicki, Sally and Grace as they are confirmed today and for Jana being licensed next Saturday as a Worship Leader.
As I said last week Jana will be leading worship within our Saturday morning Creative Worship / Messy Church family events, she will also be leading sessions for adults to explore creative prayer, initially on Saturday morning 12th November and then in the New Year. She will also contribute to the planning of the Talbot Services held at St Paul’s.
