CHRISTMAS IS COMING! There are catalogues for 3 charities if you would like to support them by shopping with them – Leprosy Mission, Mothers’ Union and Tear Fund.  Jacqui will send an order at the end of Nov (to pay only one lot of postage) and will also be bringing Charity Christmas Cards to church in early Nov, or earlier if requested. All profits will go to one of our church projects.  Thank you

NEWS FROM MURRAY ON THE SHELTER OF HOPE Please read the piece I have written about the Shelter of Hope – rather sad news I am afraid, but I have tried to set things out as I see them. What I forgot to add is that if you give money to support the Shelter, you may like to pause a while until we have sorted out who we will be supporting in the future.  We have the 3 organisations in mind, but we have not yet made formal links with them. Do have a chat with me if you would like more details or call at the office for a copy if you missed the article.

TLC - TEA AND LOVE FOR OUR COMMUNITY We are here in The MP every Tuesday 2.30 to 3.30pm. We can offer a lift if you need one. Contact Liz Warren for more details 2557965 Please tell others about us even if you don’t need us yourself!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES Once again, St Paul’s will be acting as a Drop-off point. Here’s a reminder to start looking round for things to put in (because the Olympics are going to be in the UK next year, Sports themed boxes would be a good idea.) Today we are holding a hastily prepared Gift Day.  I will be explaining more about it in my talks.  While it is important that we should give regularly to God in our church, sometimes  we may want to – and be able to – give an extra thank you gift to God.  If you would like to do this please use the Gift Day envelopes provided.
