From Murray
Bishop Steven’s 10 Days of Prayer
This year, to mark the 10 Days of Prayer, the church will be open for
half an hour from 6.30 pm each day from Thursday 9th to Saturday 18th
May inclusive. There will be quiet music
playing in the Meeting Place (which will be warm) and we will have another
prayer place in the chancel chapel with candles to light and a table for prayer
reminders. (But it will be cool up
there!) Please bring things to put on
the table which will remind others to pray for people and things important to you.
Wear Red for Pentecost!
Our 10
am service at Pentecost is Family Worship this year. We will focus on the gifts God gives to us
and how we can use them for his glory. I
would also like you to wear red to celebrate the gift of God’s Holy Spirit. Depending on the weather we may finish the
service with a fire outside with a few songs and prayers, and if we do go out
we will also have another Pentecost church photo as we did last year.
