From Murray Just to let you know that we have a good week away.  Having been to the same cottage a few times we were at last able to sit in the sun on the terrace which looks over a lovely wooded valley.  The highlight for me was hiring a bike and riding quite a bit of the Monsal Trail. As ever, I over did it a bit, but it was such fun cycling through the tunnels that I didn’t want to stop!  Ann and Oscar took it more leisurely and it was good to catch up with them on my way back.

Harvest Supper Sat. Oct 26th at 6.00pm.  We hope that lots of people will be able to come and enjoy traditional Harvest fare of a variety of vegetable soups with lovely crusty bread and cheese board and pate, to be followed by fruit pie or crumble with custard.  There won't be a charge for this event but we hope that you will be able to make a donation into the Hospitality Fund to enable us to pay for the usual round of Christmas activities.

RAINBOWS – URGENT Liz Scott needs help with Rainbows, a group for girls aged 5 – 7 years, on Monday evenings from 6 -7.00 pm in the Upper Hall. Please contact Liz Scott   07584 575 141 if you can spare an hour to help. Thank you
