From Murray  After the success of the retreat this autumn I am thinking of organising another for May or June next year.  Those who came this year said that that would like to have it a little longer.  The only way we can do that is by being there from a Tuesday lunchtime to a Friday morning.  Alternatively it could be from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.  Could you please let me know what you would prefer – with a priority to those who have not been before.

REMINDER! CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL & FAYRE:
St Paul’s Christmas Tree Festival & Fayre will be held on Saturday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Please can church members bring food items for the hamper raffle, items for the tombola (worth at least £1), & books for the book stall? There are now 2 boxes in church and a wicker hamper to put them in - thank you everyone for all the donations so far.  BAKERS PLEASE!  We also need cakes for the Cake Stall at the Christmas Tree Festival if you’re a keen baker, but bought ones will be welcome too please!  Thank you

From Murray   Today I have been taking a Remembrance Service at Holmwood with a good number of people from St Paul’s who came to the help singing.  It was so moving to see people who are quite ill joining in and taking part.  So when I got home I phoned round to arrange Carol Services in the homes.  The ones I have arranged so far are:
Tuesday 9th December 2.00 pm at Holmwood
Wednesday 17th December 2.00 pm at Scarsdale Grange
The latter is a new venue and they seemed very welcoming.
