FOODBANK UPDATE  Last week was a steady session with 135kg coming in and 217kg going out (20kg from St Paul’s).  Robert was concerned that more clients have sanctions. That is, their benefits have been cut because they were not able to sign on when they should.  This even happens when there has been a good reason, such as when a person is ill or is in hospital, and the office has been phoned by nurses to explain the absence.  However, Robert was pleased that former clients have begun working as volunteers at Foodbank including the woman with agoraphobia mentioned last week.

‘KIT OUT YOUR KIDS’  Pre-loved uniform are running another event for anyone in need of school clothing for the Lowedges, Greenhill,  Bradway,  Meadowhead, and Dronfield areas on Sun 23rd Nov  from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm at the Michael Church, Lowedges Road. They also have a good supply of non-uniform coats and tops for ages 4 to adult.  Free to those on benefits (please bring proof.)

Mike’s Ministry this week:
Sun 9th – St Paul’s 10.00 am Service of Remembrance
Mon 10th – Ashdell Preparatory
Tues 11th – Wooldale Junior
Wed 12th - Carfield Primary
Thurs 13th – Lound Infant & Totley All Saints Primary
