From Murray
We had a great time last week in the Lake District.  For some reason the rain stayed down south and we had had quite a bit of sunshine though the wind was cold at times.  We were staying close to Ann’s sister and family so we had a few days with them and also explored Windermere and went the west coast by train as far as Whitehaven.  I went to the evening service with my brother in law Glyn at their church in Ulverston and managed to stay ‘in disguise’ until someone asked me if I went to church in Sheffield at which point Glyn sniggered and that gave the game away!  They have café style church each Sunday evening and it was good to worship sat around tables, it certainly made me feel welcome as a visitor and it was interesting to be asked to discuss questions at our tables as part of the sermon.
