VISION MORNING Saturday 16^th July 10 am – come and be part of the future of St Paul’s.  Let’s spend a couple of hours thinking together about our Vision Statement and what it means to us.  Angie Lauener from Holy Trinity, Millhouses, will be with us.  It would be good if you were there.  We will have lunch together at the end. THANK YOU Margaret and Graham would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sent cards and best wishes for their Golden Wedding last week. They had a really lovely day. Please also keep Graham in your thoughts this week as he recovers from surgery to his hand.

THE BISHOP’S GARDEN PARTY The Mothers’ Union raised £880.32 in total, which was over £200 more than last year. Ecclesall Deanery M.U. raised over £160 from sales of toiletries, so thanks to everyone who donated goods and/or gave their time to help out.

CHRISTIAN AID Our total collection has now risen to £1,129.65 Many thanks to all who helped!

BARBARA  has settled in Overdale very well. Her improvement is amazing! Praise God! If friends would like to visit, Barbara would appreciate a little notice as she is joining in some of the organised activities.  If anyone would like to call Barbara on 2550257 the home staff will take a phone to her.

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC on Saturday 23^rd July from 2 - 4.00 pm for children 0-5 and their families. Different activities such as Christian story teller, face painting and music etc.  Venue – Hillsborough Park or if wet, at Hillsborough Methodist Trinity Church opposite the bowling green using the Dorothy Rd entrance. AFTERNOON TEA & ENTERTAINMENT at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Grove Rd, Millhouses on Wed 24^th Aug from 2 - 4.00pm. Cost £3 to go to MU project work. It is an open event for anyone and is always pleasant, so please support it. I have tickets & members, I need some cakes please! Thanks – Jacqui

I have just got back from the annual lunch out for local Church of England Clergy which was great fun.  I had quite a chat with Toby Hole the new vicar of St Chad’s Woodseats.  He has recently come up from London with his wife and three young children because they always wanted to live in this part of the world! Toby worked as a lawyer in the City of London before training for ministry.
