A GREAT EVENING! .....was enjoyed by all the audience at St Paul’s on Sept. 8th, for the “Sheaf Singers” Concert, held in aid of our Zimbabwe charities.  Margaret Blakey and Ken Smith, - who is a member of the choir - worked hard to sell tickets for the event and succeeded magnificently. £500 was raised! Thank you to all who attended – and special thanks to those who provided cakes and/or made refreshments on the night, or helped in other ways.

ZIMBABWE: SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICE (The thank you below from Dave Gill sent on 1st September, is for a previous donation.)
Dear Murray and the congregation at St Paul’s
On behalf of all ‘our’ pensioners I would like to thank everyone for the most recent donation of $20 for SCS medical fund. It is only with the assistance of concerned citizens such as yourselves that we are able to continue to help our older folk.
Thank you once again and God bless,
Dave Gill - SCS administrator

From Murray:
At the moment the Confirmation Service is filling my mind.  I know it will have happened by the time you read this, but continue to pray for Jordan and Callum two lads who asked to be Confirmed and showed real understanding and faith during the preparation.  Both Gail and Konrad are Christians with roots in other denominations who want now to express their commitment to God here at St Paul’s.  How will these four make a difference for God in the future?  Let’s pray and see!
