From Murray:
Now the Focus Church has been granted a Bishop’s Mission Order, a group has been set up to encourage its leaders and monitor progress.  We meet twice a year and I will be representing St Paul’s.  The other members are David Middleton and Keith Blinston, the Focus Church leaders, Clare Dalphra who has a responsibility to keep the Bishop informed of developments, Mark Wigglesworth who represents the Diocese of Sheffield, Jane Day who represents the Baptist Church and Jonathan Dunning from Meadowhead Christian Fellowship.

It was good to hear the vision and thinking of David and Keith, and their ideas for overcoming the difficulties such as carers not being bothered to bring Focus members to church meetings.  Many people with learning difficulties are very dependent on others in life.  The Focus Church aims to redress this balance and to keep members involved in all the decisions which the church makes.

Do continue to pray for Keith and David, and if you give money to support the church, your generosity is much appreciated.
