From Murray

I hope you are surviving the snow!  Just now, as I write, the sun has come out and the church looks beautiful from my window, still well draped with snow but glistening in the gentle light.  But it can be such a nuisance, I have just taken a short burial service earlier this morning and we had to tramp through quite deep snow to get to the grave.  Though I have to say the trees were beautifully coated in snow and looked a picture.  Even amidst the pain there is beauty to be seen.

I have been in touch with Helen Lawson who was not well enough to lead our service last Sunday.  She is clearly not yet sufficiently better to respond to my e-mail just yet, but I hope to find out soon when we can rearrange for her to come and share a bit more with us about the Foodbank.  In the meantime do please keep contributing food. Robert is kindly taking the food over to Gleadless Valley most weeks.
