LENT COURSE 2013 – ‘JESUS REDISCOVERED’ The Tuesday Derbyshire Lane Group will meet on 19th & 26th February, and also on 5th, 12th & possibly 19th March for this year’s Lent Course. (19th March may be subject to change as it’s a PCC night.) There is room at Margaret’s for two more people to join the group (on a first come basis.) If you’re interested, please leave a message for Margaret with Cathy, either in writing or by email.

FRIDAY YOGA We have a new group “Gentle Yoga & Relaxation” with Ruth Robson on Fridays from 2 - 3.00 pm in the OV. The first class is free if you’d like to give it a try! M.U. The next coffee morning at Sheffield Cathedral will be held on Friday 1st February. Help is needed – if you can come, please be there for 9.30 am. We also need people to bake scones please - see Jacqui for details. Or just call in for coffee and cake, from 10 am.

FIRST WEDNESDAY GROUP will be at Jacqui’s house on 6th February looking at part 2 of the DVD “Christianity in Roman Times.”

JESUS REDISCOVERED ON WEDNESDAYS!  We have some dates pencilled in for a Lent group to be held in church in the Meeting Place.  This will be using the Jesus Rediscovered material which Murray suggests groups use this year.  They are Wednesdays 20th & 27th February, 6th March (instead of 1st Wednesday Group), then 13th & 20th March.  Jacqui will confirm these dates as soon as possible.
THANKSGIVING BOXES for weekly donations are now available for collection from the back of church. Please see Peter (Franklin) if you would like to know more about having a set of boxes.

SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICE
Dear Murray and the Congregation at St Paul’s
Thank you for your very generous donation of $183.76 which was transferred yesterday for Senior Citizens Service medical account. With your continued support, thoughts and prayers it is gratifying to know that we are not alone in our quest of helping and assisting those less fortunate than ourselves. I have just had my monthly meeting with Keith Blinston who we support in his work with Focus Church here at St Paul’s.  It was really encouraging to share with him.  He will be joining us at our 10 am service this week so look out for him!
