We are beginning to work through the questionnaires people filled in at Family Worship and I have seen some very encouraging scores!  It is good to know that what we do at St Paul’s is appreciated.  But we can always improve so it will be interesting when Pam has collated the results to see the areas you think we could work harder on.  Strategy Group will do some work on results before we report to the next PCC meeting.

FROM DOROTHY:  I would like to say to my church family and friends ‘Thank you all for the lovely cards and good wishes, and for making my birthday so very special.’  Dorothy was delighted to receive over 50 cards and was very moved by the warmth and love expressed.

Dress up as a Tudor king, queen or royal knight; make a Tudor rose, lavender bag and marzipan sweetmeats. Play with Tudor toys and help The Earl of Shrewsbury stop Mary Queen of Scots escaping from Sheffield Castle! FOODBANK UPDATE  Robert had a busier week last week processing 17 vouchers (St Paul’s contributed
15 kg).  There were a number of sad stories including a young woman who had a terminal lung disease and another client who faced the choice of paying for heating or for food because of debt problems.  A young couple came who were really desperate after a fire in their house.

Mike’s Ministry this week:
Sun 22nd – St Paul’s H.C.- 10.00 am

From Murray
This week I am going down to Sevenoaks to finalise a few things following my Aunt’s death last summer. While I am there I will stay a couple of nights with Trevor who I met years ago at university and who became vicar of Christ Church Bexleyheath last spring.  He had been a senior executive in BT so I will be interested to know how he has coped with the change!  Trevor had trained as a non-stipendiary priest about ten years back so has had quite a bit of preparation for his new ministry.  Even though it is a holiday I could not resist Trevor’s invitation to preach at their midweek Communion service on Wednesday!  On Thursday I return after meeting an old friend for lunch near St Paul’s Cathedral in the city of Londo
