From Murray

It is quite a while since I have taken an adult Baptism service and I was really not prepared for the emotion of it all!  This is what we are about as a church – helping people come to faith and grow in their faith, and Russell make it very clear that this is what he wanted by the way he responded.

I thanked Russell and he replied: ‘It should be me thanking you and the congregation for a fantastic experience. Everyone was so supportive and it really made my day when everyone came to the Font.’

FROM GAIL  Could all those going on the coach for my Licensing at Doncaster Minster next weekend on Sat 21st Sept please pay the £8 as soon as they can? Thanks, Gail

FAIR TRADE OPEN DAY by “Thumbs up” on Saturday 21st September from 1.00 - 4.00 pm at Pitsmoor Methodist Church (parking on Christ Church Road.) We sell rice, jams, coffee, gifts, nuts, chocolate, spices, pasta, beans, jewellery etc. etc. – well worth a look! The weather is changing!  It seems to have been a quick change from short sleeved shirts to digging out my winter vests!  But let’s celebrate the changes and look for God’s glory in the fruitfulness of autumn and golden leaves!
