Please Pray for Jon, Glynis and Russell as they are Confirmed on Monday at St James’ Norton and be there if you can to support them.

From Murray
We never know what is coming in life.  I say that as I try to cope with the shock of John's illness, knowing that it will bring back memories for many of us of the illnesses of his wife Kath.

I went over to see John yesterday and he is not too bad in himself - a bit woozy from the morphine and obviously concerned for his sons Chris and especially Richard.  John said that during his operation on Friday they had been able to remove the cancer from his leg but they still seem to be trying find a primary site.  He has had a lot of scans and thinks he might be moved to the spinal unit on Huntsman 4 for further examination.  He is pleased to have had a good number of visitors, though at times he feels very tired so please be sensitive to how he is feeling and the number of people there already.

There are times when I can be quite cross with God for allowing such difficult thing to happen to the people I love and care for , and it is good to  know that I can always take this anger to God  without risk of causing offence!  God’s ways are beyond us but he still knows how we feel and how we respond to the painful things that come our way.   I can only conclude that God continues to be at work even in the hard and difficult times of our lives and I continue to trust that knowing him makes a difference to how we cope with all that comes our way.
